Cart and Checkout Design Sprint Accelerator
Walmart.ca current Cart and Checkout experience is one of the most interesting and challenging UX experiences in the retail sector. The complexities of the Mixed cart model (Grocery and General merchandise) along with Thresholds and the addition of the Marketplace creates challenges for customers to clearly and smoothly fulfill their orders. As business priorities and customer expectations shift, we aim to create a Cart & checkout experience that’s modern, streamlined, and future proof.

Ideation:
To accelerate the redesign process and shift our thinking, we run a 5 Day Design Sprint that engages all the stakeholders: Product Owners, CX Designers, and Engineering teams to create a happy path customer journey that will address and improve on the challenges of the current experience. The aim by the end of the sprint to have:
1. Lightweight prototype and test plan for testing to be launched
2. Lightweight synthesis and opportunities for improvements
